{"id":1139,"date":"2011-05-05T11:15:38","date_gmt":"2011-05-05T19:15:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kateandryan.net\/?p=1139"},"modified":"2011-05-05T16:28:46","modified_gmt":"2011-05-06T00:28:46","slug":"rascally-rabbits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kateandryan.net\/?p=1139","title":{"rendered":"Rascally Rabbits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last Sunday we went to the feed store for  chicken supplies (this was before the dog attack) and we came home with chicken bedding, food, corn, and rabbit pellets, a bale of alfalfa, and three rascally rabbits! A buck, Bill, and two does, Nicki and Margene (and for anyone who gets the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hbo.com\/big-love\/index.html#\/big-love\/index.html\">names<\/a> we call the wild rabbit in our yard Barb).<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re hoping to get a hutch built for them soon but for now they are spending time with us in the house. Did you know that rabbits can squeeze through the wires on a dog crate?\u00c2\u00a0 We didn&#8217;t but we quickly found out, now it is wrapped in chicken wire.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly this is the best photo I have of them. He shows them toys, draws them pictures, and of course hollers at them.
