I was planning on making lasagna tonight so I had planned to get a lot of chard for it.  Last time I made it I used the one bunch they had in our box and Ryan and I both thought, &#8220;Oh my this is way too much&#8221;.  And then it cooked down to this itsy, bitsy amount. So today I bought 3 big bunches of chard.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s two of the bunches.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kateandryan.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/August05012.jpg\" title=\"Chard bunches.\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kateandryan.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/thumb-August05012.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"337\" alt=\"Chard bunches.\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I cut out the stalk and tore the leaves a bit and then put them in our big pot to cook.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kateandryan.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/August05013.jpg\" title=\"Chard in the pot.\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kateandryan.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/thumb-August05013.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"337\" alt=\"Chard in the pot.\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Oh my, look at how it shrunk!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kateandryan.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/August05015.jpg\" title=\"Shrunken Chard.\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kateandryan.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/thumb-August05015.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"337\" alt=\"Shrunken Chard.\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I cut up the stalks and sauteed them with onion, garlic, mushrooms, and sausage. Then I added canned diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and tomato sauce for a yummy sauce. Combine with lasagna noodles, mozzarella, ricotta, and <\/p>\n<p>ta da! Lasagna!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kateandryan.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/August05020.jpg\" title=\"Lasagna!\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kateandryan.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/thumb-August05020.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"337\" alt=\"Lasagna!\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Okay, now I&#8217;m hungry again.
