I’ll be starting more lettuce, two weeks apart, to stagger those plantings. I want to give the plants a good start indoors this year. Last year I tried to start them outside and it was cool – they didn’t do as well.

The second has Rainbow Swiss Chard (x4) and Little Marvel Peas (x2). We still have chard from last year I’ll end up taking out but not until I have to transplant the new plants into the Earthbox. I’d leave it except it is in the way with everything we’re trying to fit in the boxes.

The third container has Spinach (x3) and Arugula (x3). Neither did all that well last year. Maybe starting them inside this year will turn out better. If not I can find something else to plant in that spot.

There are still more things to start – but not quite this early. I also need to get another cage for the ground cherry. Again, assuming it grows since we didn’t have any luck last year. It just looks so interesting that I wanted to try again.

[thumb:162:l:s=1] I’ve started our first seeds of the new season.
