Transplants in the Sun

The porch garden is coming along. Yesterday I made lasanga using some of the swiss chard still growing from last year. I also transplanted the lettuce outside. [thumb:175:l] In the same box I’ve started some additional lettuce seeds and the carrots.

The lemon cucumber, Thai pink egg tomato, patio orange tomato and nasturtiums all had some time out in the sun today.

Our first transplants of arugula, spinach, swiss chard and peas seem to be recovering from the cold. I’ve also started another pea plant.

Indoors, I’ve got a second Thai pink egg tomato planted and the watermelon. Hopefully both will grow. Plus I transplanted the marigold and started some more seeds. I’ll bring the more sensitive plants inside for awhile longer until the nights warm up more. Then I’ll transfer them out to the Earthboxes.
